SNAPCHAT

The Complete Snapchat Guide
Snapchat is no longer supported by Android emulators, such as Bluestacks. The software will install, but you will not be able to log in.

Although Snapchat is designed for mobile devices, many people have discovered how to utilise it on a computer. Unfortunately, Snapchat appears to be making it more difficult for users to access their accounts from devices that aren’t compatible with the app.

How Snapchat Used to Work on a Computer

The only way to use Snapchat on a computer was to download an Android emulator. An Android emulator is a piece of software that allows you to run Android apps on your computer.
You may download the official Snapchat app with this emulator installed on your PC. BlueStacks is one of the most popular and commonly used Android emulators.

The BlueStacks support team sent out the following notice on May 30, 2019:

It’s possible that Snapchat crashed after you logged in, leaving you on the BlueStacks home screen. This is an app-specific behaviour that has nothing to do with BlueStacks. Snapchat’s development team appears to have outlawed the usage of emulators.

How to Install Snapchat on Your Computer

Snapchat appears to be limiting (or has already prohibited) the use of emulators, leaving no other option for effectively utilising the app on PCs. You can give it a shot.
. You can try following these instructions anyway to see if they work for you, but you may still have issues or be unable to sign into your Snapchat account once you get at the login page.

On your PC, open your favourite web browser and go to the BlueStacks download page.

To get the BlueStacks installer, click Download BlueStacks.

Some Snapchat users have claimed that their issues have started to appear in newer versions (BlueStacks 3 and 4). Instead, you could try downloading and installing an older version of BlueStacks, such as BlueStacks 2. However, because Snapchat explicitly prohibits the use of emulators, using an older version might not make a difference.
